Hoi, we are Koepon
Around 50 years ago, we began bringing our ideas of healthy agriculture to life in the Netherlands. Since then, we have been combining animal husbandry, milk production, feed cultivation, and breeding into a harmonius system that is continuously evolving.
What started small has grown over the years through curiosity and passion: today, people at Koepon work closely together with other countries, connected by their shared love of agriculture and the amibition to improve it a little every single day.
Healthy livestock for high-quality natural products
In Northern Germany, for example, we manage one of the lardest organic Jersey herds. At home on the lush meadows of Mecklenburg, they are fed our own forage and produce high-quality, healthy milk that contains a pure A2 genotype in its protein.
Our Holstein cows however feel most comfortable at Coopon Carse, in the rainly Lowlands of Scotland. And in the northern Dutch region of Westerkwartier, we carry out successful Red-and-White cattle breeding based on genomics.
Future meets teamwork
Across all our farms, we combine tradition with modern technologies. We believe high-tech and agriculture simply belong together - GPS-guided tractors, computer-assisted feeding, and the latest robotic technologies, for example. In addition, we provide plenty of space for our animals. They spend their day in large, cubicle barns or simply out in the open.
You will often find us out there, too. We love the nature at each of our locations. Whether working together as a team in the fields and forests, sharing a chat in front of the barn over a cup of coffee, or exploring the surroundings with our visitors, the heart of Koepon lies in community, guided by a genuine spirit of togetherness.
