Agriculture that feels better for everyone
Koepon’s Vision
To us, having a vision means looking ahead and at the many things that shape our daily life – our locations, our team spirit and above all the well-being of our animals. Only when all of these elements work together in harmony can we achieve good and healthy farming.
We are driven by curiosity and the joy of learning. Over many years, this has shaped our growth – from our roots in the Netherlands, to our farm in Scotland, and on to our operations in Mecklenburg.
Today, our work focuses on systems designed around circular principles – both in dairy farming and crop production, whether conventional or organic. Strong breeding practices, modern technology, and a team that values community just as much as our targeted achievements.
The nice feeling of being stronger together
As a familiy-owned business, we embrace timeless traditions alongside many innovations. We love working together and know how valuable community is. Our team is at the heart of everything we do. Together, we maintain balance and are committed to quality and sustainability. With courage and an open mind, with passion for our work, and with pride in our accomplishments.
Dairy farming that respects people and nature
We are committed to a form of agriculture that reimagines sustainability – one that does not simply maintain the status quo, but continously improves it step by step.
The well-being of our animals is at the heart of our work. They are the source of Koepon’s high-quality milk. To support them, we grow most of their feed ourselves and keep transport distances to a minimum. We invest heavily in healthier soils, exstensive forest management, and the efficient use of rainwater. We also view our farms as important carbon sinks, helping to store CO₂ and support a more sustainable future.
Taking the initiative on innovation
To foster strong collaboration across all areas, we are always happy to explore new and fresh ideas. We are curious, love to innovate, and continously learn to improve – knowledge and experience we also like to share with fellow farmers. Naturally, economic viability plays an important role as well. After all, our agricultural business can only succeed in the long term if it is financially sustainable. That is why we place great importance on ensuring that every forward-looking idea is practical, resilient, and built for lasting success.
